"Skirting The Cell" Sailing Painting J boat

Although I love fishing, sometimes I simply miss sailing and skipping the waves hearing nothing but the wind and the rigging. I sailed all through my childhood on Cape Cod and have been wanting very much lately to get back into it. This is a painting i have been wanting to do for awhile and although the original is not available, if you like it you can purchase prints up to 30x 40

Beautiful! I love the palette you used on this. I learned to sail when I was a kid living in Guam. I'm 900 miles from the ocean now and dearly miss it (I could sail on our lakes/reservoirs, but it's not quite the same).

I understand about the ocean, its tough being away from it when the salt is in the veins. Reading a book right now about rigging your sailboat for offshore fishing, sounds like an interesting concept
