Question for my painter friends... I am designing a new H frame studio easel and would love to hear your thoughts as to what features you feel are absolutely necessary, or you wish they would actually build into them. Ive found there is always something I like on one that another doesn't have. I tend to beat the hell out my easels and they never last long so I figured why not design one that will.

Drilled holes along the side of the easel for popping the tail-end of the brush in while you take a break, etc. A gimball-style cup holder for that drink that can be held safely irrespective of the angle of the easel! petergander.blogspot.com
